Ms. Howell introduces you to the many plants that have been used as foods by American Indians and local folks for generations. Includes a box lunch.
2:30pm - 5:30pm: Wild and Local Foods Cooking Class with Chef David Darugh (Beechwood Inn) and Herbalist Patricia Howell. Join us in the Beechwood Inn Restaurant Kitchen for an exciting afternoon cooking up your foraged ingredients. We will also have available farm fresh local foods to round out the foraged foods. You will get an entire set of recipes to keep.
6:30pm Wild Foods Dinner. Let us serve you a fresh and local wild foods dinner in the Beechwood Inn Dining Room.
