Vocalist Josh Groban has a new live DVD/CD on the way, and is also preparing to launch a tour of the North American arena circuit. Groban issues Live at the Greek--recorded during the summer of 2004 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles--on Nov. 30. The concert, which was taped for a PBS "Great Performances" special that will air this holiday season, featured guest appearances by Bela Feck and Lucia Micarelli. The DVD includes live performances of 17 songs, and is packaged with an eight-song CD. Special features on the DVD include a backstage look at Groban's summer 2004 tour, as well as a version of "Believe"--a track on the "The Polar Express" soundtrack--that mixes live performance footage with film footage. The singer's 2002 PBS "Great Performances" special spawned Josh Groban in Concert, the top-selling long-form music video of 2003. Fans can get a glimpse of Groban in the flesh during a two month North American tour that gets underway Jan. 25 in Florida. Groban made a splash in the music scene with his self-titled 2001 debut. He followed with last year's Closer, which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
