Last Sunday was one of my favorite days of the year, Bark in the Park at Turner Field! This is the day where you can bring your four-legged best friend to the ball park and watch the Bravos do their thing. This game was against the Florida Marlins and it was one of the more exciting games of the season with the Braves trailing most of the game and 6-1 at the end of the 7th. Then with 3 runs in the 8th and 3 runs in the 9th the Braves stunned the Marlins and it was a great day for all the people and the pooches!
They really do this thing up at the park. They turn a whole section of the stadium in to a dog park complete with water bowls, doogy pools, misters, and more! There are a bunch of vendors set up that give out free milkbones and doggy ice cream. They also reserve several sections of seats for everyone.
